I had lunch with a good friend yesterday and we didn't talk politics, because we wanted it to be a good time, right? Because we're all disappointed that Obama wasn't the reformer we'd hoped he'd be and much of what is wrong with where we're heading is still wrong.
Wars, Gitmo, the tax breaks, etc. We all have a list.
But then I think back to 2008 and see what could have happened. Jesus, imagine these two in charge during the greatest financial meltdown of our lifetime?
I said at the time that Obama won't be everything his supporters hope nor his detractors suspect, but still, standing next to McCain and Palin, he looks pretty damn good.

If I had to vote again today, and my choices were the same, I would still vote for Obama. Jesus, Anonymous, do you really think Captain Walnuts and the Snowbilly Grifter would do a better job? Really?

Obama is dealing with the lowest and dirtiest people ever to inhabit the House. I wish he was doing more, but given the adversities, I am thankful he's in there. Look what's happening in the States. Like mine.
I just wish Ginsberg would resign so he could get that nomination into the Senate before 2012 because you can never underestimate the American public.
Although I have bad vibes about the final outcome in the Middle East.

One thing the man has down good is vacationing. He's mastered that. As for running a country... unemployment, increasing the size of Government and debt, The huge increase in Health care costs for American Families, the failure to build American small businesses so jobs will stay in the USA, Ah..I'm getting a headache. Come on guys, It's right there in front of you. Now you want to blame the HOUSE?
