Less talk. More music.

OK, maybe not. At least not yet. But if this new endeavor from Rob Gregory Browne and Brett Battles takes off, they may branch out to include singing and (shudder) dancing.

Always one to tempt the darkness, here's a plug.

These two, not content with writing about writing, are now talking about writing over at http://www.battlesandbrowne.com/.

Their inaugural piece is about character. Check it out.

I'm polishing up my tap shoes right now! Thanks, David!

By the way, I have told you lately that BENEATH A PANAMANIAN MOON was one of my favorite reads last year?

Thank you, Brett, that's very nice to hear. I'm glad you liked it.

And you're welcome.

Good luck with this. We'll be watching.

Or is that listening?

The lines separating various medias have continued to blur for some time now. It just gets more and more interesting. If Battles and Browne are successful, they may have writers who write what they say about writing. Those writers will have to listen carefully to what their bosses have to say about writing. Who invented the mirror? The chicken or the egg?
