I'm not a good person.

I have been remiss. I got this from Dusty a while back and it got buried under a stack of other books that have sadly gone unread. I don't know why, but I've fallen far behind in my reading. The days and weeks fly by and a book I picked up in hardcover is now available in paper.

As is Safe and Sound. In fact, Dusty has another book out, Breaking Cover, and if it's as good as Safe and Sound, it's something you should pick up.

S&S has everything a light romantic comedy doesn't - a sociopathic South African, claymores, and, what I'll bet is the first time ever, the use of a firefighting helicopter in the climactic shoot-out. Wow.

I've read all of the Jack Keller books and each is better than the one before, which is as it should be.

So forgive me, Dusty, for not getting to this sooner. I promise I won't be as slack with the new one.
