Friday cookie update.

Good grief, Columbus.

Sue, the woman in fits of unbridled glee over last week's gi-normous cookie, sent in this photo from Ohio, showing just what a deficient state Ohio is, cookie-wise.

Another reason to flee the Buckeye State.

How people live there is a mystery.

We don't bother with what is obviously a store-bought puny little cookies. We eat candy buckeyes, homemade peanut brittle, and in my family, my great-grandmother's cutout cookies and my grandma's famous sand tarts. We all gain a lot of weight over the holidays...

The rest of the year, grandma just sticks to homemade cinnamon rolls.

That's not a cookie! That's a wafer disguised as a cookie. Yes, Ohio needs our help. I'm sending cookies; real cookies.

By the way, I hope you're writing off this trip on your taxes as writer's research.
